Tucker is fairly calm, he judges not harshly but his temper can sometimes get the best of him. He will always treat his friends with respect until they have lost it. He is usually a bit colder to outsiders as he does not trust easily. He is strong willed and will do everything to protect what he cares about. He is very protective over the ones he love and rather distant to new people. Tucker has a good heart, often wanting to do better to the people around him. He is courageous and will tend to risk his own life to help others. Tucker is a very Intelligent dog he was a ex K9 Cop after all his sense of smell was also put to very good use when he was task with sniffing out drugs and criminals who attempt to hide from him and Steven.

Years ago Tucker was once a police dog serving in the line of duty in a small new England town where Tramp's family lived. Lt. Tucker as he was called by the younger dogs was looked upon with respect by the younger cadets of the trainer academy where he lived for since was just a young pup. Tucker had a human partner a red-headed man named Steve now Tucker loved the man just as the other K9 cops loved there owners and Tucker would keep loving him until the day he died unfortunately for Tucker Steve's death was just around the corner. One day while the pair was out investigating a drug bust when Steve got shot in the chest, killing the man instantly upon Steve's death Tucker was taken to the pound instant of back to the academy seeing how Tucker was getting old and an old K9 unit would be no good to the force. Tucker waited...and waited for Steve to come and get him thinking he was just sleeping although he thought it was an odd time for his owner to take a nap in the middle of work?. a few months passed then Scamp was caught and Tucker took pity on the young scruffy puppy as he watched the fight with Tramp, Scamp and Reggie with a pained heart knowing that there was nothing he could do to help with him being stuck in a cage and all. A day after the events Tucker vowed to break out of the pound and he did so after many days of digging with soon bloodstained paws he escaped the pound
